A pair of shoplifting, no-good teen skate punks—Vince (Chris Rehmann) and Justin (Ben Carr)—who put together a surprisingly good demo tape, to the dismay of snobby record clerks Barry (Jack Black) and Dick (Todd Louiso) in 2000's High Fidelity. Store owner Rob Gordon (John Cusack) is so impressed he offers on the spot to release it on his own, just-made-up record label, Top Five Records. Later, he djs at the release party of their 3 song EP, I Sold My Mom's Wheelchair (with title track of the same name).
