Islamic punk band (taqwacore) from California, in the 2004 novel The Taqwacores by Michael Muhammed Knight. They travel to Buffalo, NY to play a climactic taqwacore show. They have a female lead singer.
The novel was turned into a 2010 film, The Taqwacores.
Infibulation is the surgical removal of the external female genitalia. Barf.
