Islamic punk band (taqwacore) from California, in the 2004 novel The Taqwacores by Michael Muhammed Knight. They travel to Buffalo, NY to play a climactic taqwacore show.
The novel was turned into a 2010 film, The Taqwacores.
The Imran Khan Experience burned an Israeli flag though its guitarist wore the Star of David.
