The Hard-Hats

Muppet band featuring longtime Sesame Street construction worker characters Biff and Sully. The band also includes percussionist Stella, who punctuates the song by hitting Sully's hard hat. They first appeared in the 9 May 1991 episode. Their song, "This Song Is for the Birds," later appeared on the We Are All Earthlings (1993) and Silly Songs (1996) albums.
