Would-be band from the "The Greyfriars Minstrels!" story in British kids' magazine The Magnet Vol. 17, #645 (June 19, 1920). Rich kid Lord Herbert Mauleverer buys a lot of instruments for no reason, and the gang at Greyfriars School tries to get a band going, even though no one has any prior musical experience or talent. Eventually, they make so much cacophony practicing, a group of students breaks down the door and smashes all the instruments.
