Thinly veiled reference to The Beatles from The Rotting Stumps story in Charlton comic book Go-Go #6 (December 1966).

Their manager, Barry Ecchstein (a parody of Beatles' manager Brian Epstein), chases down the Rotting Stumps in NYC and even helps them break out of jail, so he can sign them to a terrible contract.
