The Animal Kwackers are a band from the eponymous English childrens' television series (1975). They resemble The Banana Splits.

The Animal Kwackers consist of Rory, a lion; Twang, a monkey; Bongo, a dog; and Boots, a tiger. They are aliens from the planet Popland, visiting Earth in their flying saucer to tell stories about music.

Created by Roy Apps and Peter Eden for Yorkshire Television, the Kwackers were actors/musicians performing in animal suits, and appearing in the children series of the same name.

Playing cover and original songs alike -the main line from the series was:

Rory Rory tell us a story, Rory Rory tell it like it is!

said in every episode - they even brought out an album.
