Fake rock band from humor columnist Erma Bombeck's "Stone age versus rock age" column, as compiled in the 1971 book "Just wait till you have children of your own!"


"That noise," I yelled, "what is it?"

"Isn't that neat?" she asked. "It's a new stereo tape. Shifting gears with a bad clutch. Wait'll you hear the flip side. It's a muffler dragging in a quiet zone with a police siren in pursuit. If you don"t want to hear that, maybe you'd like to hear the 'Don't Let 'Em Goad Ya into Cambodia Rag?'"

"I have a headache," I said. "Is it possible to turn the volume down a bit?

"I want you to hear a new group," she said excitedly. "Sweat and His Anti -Perspirants."

"No, really. What about juice and coffee?"

"I don't know them," she pondered. "What label do they record under?"
