Evil clarinettist from the Ray story of comic book Smash Comics #17 Dec 1940. He is able to hypnotize people with his playing. He's teamed up with crooked dock commissioner Jennings. Jennings knows which ships have the most valuable cargo, and Stradivous hypnotizes the crew over the radio so they crash and sink. Step three: profit! Somehow.

Superhero The Ray stops them.
