Sourdough Tony

Tony Laport is a pop singer sensation in a plot arc over a half dozen stories in the Catholic comic book Treasure Chest of Fun and Fact He first appeared in vol. 19, #11 (#357, January 30, 1964). Known as "the voice of Alaska," his home state, Tony asks friend Chuck White to come to NYC to be his manager because he doesn't trust his current one, Vince Magee.

Later, unable to remember how he got in a car wreck, a nervous Tony heads out of town camping, leading to a police search, a press panic, and hit and run charges for Chuck. Chuck gets it all settled, but Tony calls it quits and heads back to Alaska.
