Rock band with a lot of problems from the song "Scum of the Earth" from the album Songs and Stories by Shel Silverstein, 1978. They all died in a fire caused by electrical issues.

Dr. Hook covered the song, truncating the song, and changing some of the lyrics.

Lineup:

Mavis, drums
Spiker, bass
Static, rhythm guitar
possibly some other, unnamed members.
