Quick John Lennon parody from an episode (26 May, 1975) of British sketch comedy television series Rutland Weekend Television. He sings "The Children of Rock and Roll." Played by Neil Innes. He was not given a name in the show, but credited as "Ron Lennon" when the song was put on the soundtrack album, The Rutland Weekend Songbook (1976).

The song was later reworked and used for The Rutles.
