Fiddle player from the Demon Cycle series of fantasy novels by Peter V. Brett. He first appeared in The Painted Man (U.S. title The Warded Man), published in 2008. His playing has magical effects on demon-like entities called corelings. He was orphaned and raised by a jongleur.
He's nicknamed "Halfgrip" because he's missing two fingers on his right hand.
