Young composer featured in "Letters from Zedelghem," one of the six nested narratives in David Mitchell's 2004 novel Cloud Atlas. In 1931, Frobisher, a penniless young English musician, finds work as an amanuensis to a composer living in Zedelgem, Belgium. As the story progresses, Frobisher composes the Cloud Atlas Sextet, which consists of six nested solos arranged in the same manner as the narratives in Cloud Atlas.
