Rex Engels
Oh, gee, ya think, Rex? Stupid #$%!@#!

Handsome successful songwriter from the "Words, Music and Love" story in romance comic book Love Diary #38 (July 1965).

He taps unknown lyricist Karen Truder to be his new partner. They hit it off musically and romantically. But then they run into Rex's ex, singer Rena, who coaxes Rex and drags Karen into writing some new songs for her. When Rex spends time with Rena to go over the songs, Karen thinks she's lost Rex to her.
