His uncle is Jerzei Balowski, the re-appearing landlord of the four main characters, and his father "was a bit of a communist." In this episode of the series, Radical Posture plays the song 'Dr. Martens Boots', which contains references to The Human League's Don't You Want Me and Nancy Sinatra's These Boots Are Made For Walkin'. Following this appearance, Radical Posture re-appeared in slightly different guises on Alexei Sayle's comedy album Cak! and on the British television program The Tube.
