Rock band from Coldwater Canyon High playing the battle of the bands at Charlie's Meet Rack in the teen film Lovelines (1984). They sing "For You." The MC introduces them as The Racers but they are later referred to as Racer.
They tie with The Firecats and perform "Defyin' Gravity" together.
Fronted by pretty boy Rick Johnson (Greg Bradford).
