Fake composer created by ... a real composer! In 1850, famous composer Hector Berlioz (1803–1869) attributed his "Adieu des Bergers" (Shepherd's Farewell) to this 17th French century composer. He had some fun at the expense of the critics, who praised the piece, and scolded Berlioz for not being as good as Ducré.
