Famous English guitarist who features heavily in the liner notes of Pete Townshend's 1985 concept album White City: A Novel. In the accompanying film adaptation, Fountain is portrayed by Townshend.
Not to be confused with the real New Orleans clarinetist of the same name (a point Townshend makes in the liner notes).
