Bossa nova duo played by Fred Armisen and Maya Rudolph in "Brazilian Bar," a sketch from the 11 Nov. 2006 episode of Saturday Night Live.
They later became sort of a real band when Drag City released a split single by Paulinho e Beatriz and another Armisen fake band, Joshua Rainhorn.
