After losing her lucrative damsel-in-distress gig to Princess Peach, Donkey Kong's favorite kidnap victim apparently focused on her singing and politicking. In the 2017 Nintendo Switch platformer Super Mario Odyssey, Pauline is both mayor of New Donk City and a jazz-pop vocalist (she sings the game's theme song, "Jump Up Super Star!"). Kate Davis (aka Kate Higgins) provides her English singing voice.
