Rapping cartoon dog from the 1996 Playstation game PaRappa the Rapper (originally パラッパラッパー Parappa Rappā) and a 2001 sequel, PaRappa the Rapper 2 for PlayStation 2. An anime television series based on the games aired in Japan between April 2001 and January 2002.
