Simple wind instrument resembling a vuvuzela, from the 1956 Dr. Seuss children's book If I Ran the Circus.
It's played in the Circus McGurkus by a small creature called a Nolster, and produces "floops." The Nolster has a long thin snout over which the noozer fits, making it difficult to determine where the Nolster ends and the noozer begins. This would indicate that either the noozer is a native instrument of the Nolster species, or McGurk has obtained a specially-trained Nolster that plays a custom-built instrument.
Not to be confused with the Three-nozzled bloozer.
