Miles Davis parody in the jazz-themed children's book Acoustic Rooster and his Barnyard Band, 2011, Sleeping Bear Press, by Kwame Alexander and illustrated by Tim Bowers. Kudos for dodging the overused elephant pun!

Other animal pun-named musicians in the book: Duck Ellington, Bee Holiday, Ella Finchgerald, and Thelonious Monkey.
