Singer from the 1958 Canadian novel A Mixture of Frailties by Robertson Davies. Awarded a musical scholarship, she travels to London to learn music, and is eventually taught by young composer Giles Revelstoke, and fall into an ill-fated affair with him.

Davies was once a newspaper music critic, so his references are knowledgeable.
