Comic relief dumb blonde nightclub singer with dumb luck from the "Yankee Eagle and the Blonde Torch Singer" story of Military Comics #8 (March 1942). She nearly dies or gets killed several times, but is saved by the aforesaid dumb luck. She's also a terrible singer, and apparently only knows one song, "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire."
She sang on an illegal gambling boat anchored twelve miles from shore run by "the Commander." But she got dumped out of a moving car in town by his goons for singing so badly. But "the Commander" is also a Nazi spy and saboteur sought out by hero Yankee Eagle (really Jerry Noble). He uses the dame to get to the Commander and take him down and thwart his evil scheme to build an undersea tunnel so Nazi troops can take a big U.S. naval base.
