"...probably the greatest woman piano virtuoso who ever lived!" according to her former student, Jan, in the "Love Comes Later" story of romance comic book First Kiss (July 1960).

Jan hopes visiting her will show ex-boyfriend Frank why he has to be an ex-boyfriend, due to career demands.

But elderly Madame Torin warns Jan not to end up old and alone like her, and Jan jumps back into Frank's arms.

It's all a bit insulting, really.

Torin's first name is never given.
