Sexy, 1960s African-American singer, like Tina Turner, from the 1986 novel Fuel-Injected Dreams by James Robert Baker. Her big 1969 hit was "Tidal Wave of Flame," produced by Phil-Spectorish producer Dennis Contrelle, in a series of epic sessions that resulted in Contelle burning out.

One of her other songs was "Thigh High Vinyl Boots (People, They're a Gas)."
