He's led into schemes by his conniving manager Leonard Limabean. They try to sabotage a music video the California Raisins are shooting with producer/studio head Frederico Rasperini.
In the "The Good, The Bad, & The Broccoli" episode, Limabean and Lick plant a bug in the Raisins' mansion to steal their newest song, "Baby Love."
He also appeared in their second, 1990 television special, Raisins Sold Out: The California Raisins II.
His band has a gourd on drums, a green bean playing a chainsaw-shaped guitar, and a melon or grapefruit on guitar or bass.
