The Barbie doll's long time love interest. In 1970, Ken got the "Live Action Ken On Stage" playset, a groovy new outfit, and a 45 rpm single, "A Little Bit Of That Sky" (Mattel, 45 rpm single, included with the playset).

He first appeared duetting with Barbie on their 1961 Barbie Sings collection of three 45 rpm records.

He also played piano for Barbie in the "Barbie the Nightclub Singer" story of Dell comic book Barbie and Ken #2 (August-October 1962).
