Brash young composer from the "The Druids' Dirge" story of horror comic book Web of Mystery #11 (July 1952).

Inspired by visiting Stonehenge, he composes a piece so wild and strange it summons the spirits of centuries-dead druids who can't wait to get back to their blood sacrifices! They start with the gamekeeper and Purcell's fiance's dad. But when they try to sacrifice Purcell's fiance Viola, well NOW it's personal. Attacking the druid-spirits, he sets his musical score on fire. As it burns, it paralyzes them and turns them into more stone pillars.
