Unseen surf-rock band mentioned in the 1967 British movie Smashing Time. Tone-deaf dolly bird Yvonne hits swinging London and uses 10,000 pounds she won in a TV show to buy her way into being into a pop singer. She's a celebrity guest on tv show Hi-Fi Court (a spoof of real show Juke Box Jury), where they're all judging a track by this band. A snippet is heard, the host thinks it's a knockout, and the song is riding high on the charts. But Yvonne thinks it's "too samey" and that it won't be a hit.
