All-girl pop-rock band from the 1986 animated TV show Jem. Jem is the lead singer. Other members are Kimber, Aja, and Shana. They all looked like Barbies, basically. Jem and the Holograms' rival bands were The Misfits (not to be confused with the real punk band) and the Stingers. Fun fact: the woman who provided Jem's singing voice (Britta Phillips of Luna and Dean and Britta) was also a member of another fake band, Jennie Lee and the Mystery.
