Jackie Mullens

Teenaged protagonist Jackie Mullens (Jo Kennedy) from the 1982 Australian film Starstruck, directed by Gillian Armstrong.

She is desperate to be a singer and at a talent show, impresses local band The Wombats, and becomes their singer and dates the guitarist, Robbie (Ned Lander). She dumps him for the host of tv talent program The Wow! Show, and goes solo. She flops and the host turns out to be gay. She goes back to the Wombats and they scheme to crash the show's New Year's Eve talent competition at the Sydney Opera House.
