Apparently, "...the most misspelled band in Minneapolis." They appear in the 1987 fantasy novel War for the Oaks by Emma Bull.

Member Eddi McCandry breaks up with her boyfriend Stuart Kline, the band's leader, and then gets involved with fairies. Sorry, I mean "The Faerie."
