From the "The Blues Brother" episode (01/24/1988) of the television sitcom Family Ties. Alex plays a track by this jazz gent on his WLEL college radio show, but says he's dead. Dupre calls in to dispute that.

Played by real musician Brownie McGhee, who also played fake musician Toots Sweet in the film Angel Heart.
