Innocent, talented 17-year-old singer from the 1966 British mystery novel Way Out, later retitled The Corrupt and the Innocent (1968) by Louis Charbonneau. She's about to be chewed up by the record industry. Studio PR man Jack Darrin is assigned to keep an eye on her in Los Angeles, and she gets a stalker right away.
