Young talented amateur violinist in the ...FUTURE. From the "Music of the Spheres" sci-fi story of anthology comic book Startling Comics #53 (September 1948).
He's a human Martian colonist, who's father has been crippled by cosmic poisoning, and Wayne is trying to support his family by winning music contests.
He plays with two bows simultaneously, a trick taught him by blue Jupiterian alien Namar.
Wayne wins the All-Jupiter Contest of the Planetary Music Festival on Jupiter and goes on to the All Solar Finals.
Space detective Lance Lewis has to figure out why a cargo space ship was blown up and how it's connected to greeting cards and Wayne.
