Human muppet from the long-running PBS children's TV series Sesame Street.
A pianist and composer, he was prone to spasms of paralyzing self-doubt and self-loathing, frequently banging his forehead on the keyboard in frustration.
He typically appeared in short sketches being interviewed at home at the piano by reporter Kermit the Frog, agonizing over something.
