A David-Cassidy-type teenage heart-throb pop singer from the short-lived (24 episodes) 1979 television sitcom Please Stand By, in which the father of the Lampert family decides to chuck his hectic L.A. existence and run the tiny television station KRDA in New Mexico.
Played by Stephen Michael Schwartz, who also was in the unnamed fake band in the syndicated TV series The Music Shoppe. Schwartz, an actual musician, also performed the theme song.
