Former swing band bandleader and clarinetist from the legendary 1980 flop Xanadu, played by big star and dancer Gene Kelly in his final film role. He's inspired by an actual Roman goddess/Muse, Kira (Olivia Newton-John) to open a new nightclub at the old Los Angeles Pan-Pacific Auditorium.
