Originally sung by Barry Bell and the Belltones, a new Throb Records act, Bleeding Gums wants to cover the old romantic ballad, "Out of Control." Throb records employee Sandy (Diana Canova) has to go negotiate with Porter (played by real singer Billy Vera). Luckily he lives right in town.
