Going-nowhere band of protagonist Danny McQueen, from Louise Wener's 2002 novel, Goodnight Steve McQueen. Wener was a singer/songwriter in the real Britpop band Sleeper in the 1990s.

McQueen's girlfriend Alison is getting fed up with his mooching, unemployed ways. Desperate, McQueen pays for Dakota to be the opening act for band Scarface, and by tour's end, finally grasps some success.
