Andy Samberg plays this DJ that teases his audiences up to the point their heads explode when he finally lets 'the bass drop', in the Saturday Night Live sketch 'When Will the Bass Drop?' (5/19/2014). The character is based in part on David Guetta and in part on Avicii.
