Line 1: Line 1:
A rock musician mentioned in "The Modernization of Emily," an episode of ''The Bob Newhart Show'' (airdate 12 January 1974). Emily (Suzanne Pleshette), attempts to stave off the ravishes of time by buying faded denim wear and connecting with the youth of today. "Today" being 1974, and the youth being Rosalie Shaeffer, a young elementary school teacher played by a very young Sharon Gless. (We know! We didn't realize she existed before the first episode of "Cagney & Lacey," either!) Rosalie suggest they go out and see Chicken on a Stick, but poor old Emily doesn't know that's a musician, not a dish. Darn old people--when will they leave rock'n'roll to us kids?
