"Sludge Falls' only blues singer, according to the 20 June 1984 installment of "The Edge of Wetness," a recurring soap opera parody bit from The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. He's played by stagehand Gene Patton, who was better known as "Gene Gene the Dancing Machine" during his stint as a stagehand on The Gong Show (1976-1980).
