Des Moines waitress turned stage singing star in the parody of "slick biographies" that is "Starlight Starbright" in satire magazine From Here to Insanity vol.3, no.1 (Apr 1957).
She's the star of Roget and Messerschmann's new Broadway musical Chopped Liver, playing the lead role of Jenny Gestalt. She supposedly got the role by being charming and unassuming, but really she forced Roget and Messerschmann to listen to her horrible singing until they gave her the role to make her stop.
