Jealous and unpopular radio DJ on an unnamed station from "The Case Of The Cracked Disc Jockey" story in comic book The Perfect Crime #12 (May 1951). He started the same time at the same station as fellow DJ Happy Carlisle, but Carlisle had all the success. And that he married a girl Blane liked.
Vengeful, Blane rigs up a electronic device to give Carlisle headaches, and then tries to kill him undetected via a poisoned record. But his "perfect" scheme collapses, and desperate, he attacks and kills Carlisle on the air in the studio, and is shot dead fleeing the police.
