Nope, not that Beck. This is a Japanese band in the manga of the same name (1999–2008), as well as the anime (2004–2005), and live-action adaptations. The band's story centers on Yukio "Koyuki" Tanaka as he learns guitar, joins the band, and eventually becomes an international success. The rest of the band includes:

  • Ryusuke "Ray" Minami, guitar
  • Tsunemi Chiba, vocals
  • Yoshiyuki Taira, bass
  • Yuji "Saku" Sakurai, drums

The band goes by Mongolian Chop Squad in the U.S.
