Unexpected hit circus act formed by struggling jazz guitarist Billy McGuffey, who teams up with horn-playing circus seal Barker, in Sid and Marty Krofft's unsuccessful 1957 TV puppet show pilot, Here's Irving. They get backed up by a trio of clowns on drums, piano, and sax.

Barker's unnamed mother also plays the horns, but disapproved of her son's jazz stylings, wanting him to stick to the classics.
